In the TOGA standards,  the paradigms of IDSSs refer directly to the formal definitions of the concepts:
- intelligence

- decision-making

- computer support.

Therefore, the IDSS's design tasks will only be  focused on the improvement of: 
  •  engineeristic expert experience
  • ( technological and managerial IPK)
  •   intervention domain-preferences
  • (related to  industrial plants or human oganizations) , 
  •   "what-if" situation assessment, and
  •   human-computer cognitive interfaces

From the perspective of  the IDSSs development, the socio-cognitive modeling of a generic domain-independent  managerial decision making  is considered as  one of most important challeners of  the TOGA meta-theory.
