     Intelligence
       Remarks of Adam Maria Gadomski

Cognitive observations of  an intelligence (not  exactly the definition):

In the center of any human cognition is an abstract intelligence.
INTELLIGENCE is our foundamental "tool" to  comprehend and to understand the world.
INTELLIGENCE is a basic and necessary property of the future software systems to make them more efficient tools
in  always more complex open global world of information.
INTELLIGENCE is a capability to learn, to change its/his/her own preferences and to think about
     its/his/her own reasoning.
INTELLIGENCE is a capability to use its/his/her IPK for new/(not expected by the designer) problems.
Abstract INTELLIGENCE is its "essence" not dependent on technology and materials used for its
realization, not dependent on particular  information, knowledge and preferences  available to an
     intelligent system (== intelligent agent).

  Top problems

    - Carrier systems and an abstract intelligence?

    - Different goals and  functions - different intelligences?

    - Observability - behavioral (humans oriented by IQ measured, Turing test) or structural (engineering perspective)?

    - Boundary conditions - When "intelligent system"  is not more intelligent?

    - How to establish paradigms for intelligence modeling?

    - How to enhance/augment/amplify/reinforce intelligence'? - What has to be extended/improved?

Intelligence add, Intelligence support - What is the difference between intelligence support and reinforce

      intelligence?

    - Terminological redundancy, for ex. abstract/synthetic/generic/general intelligence are used as idiomatic terms.

TOGA intelligence-oriented research hypothesis, proposals, articles and initiatives

Most general, the term  intelligence denotes complex and ill defined mental human capability to be efficient and effective in new and weakly known situations. From the human kind perspective, in order to enhance it and to "install" in machines, this property has to be modeled and simulated.
In the subject matter literature, there are numerous  approaches to this task from different research perspectives.
An approach to the rough classification of the current trends in this activity is presented in the e- paper of Gadomski. In such context we present some remarks and taxonomy proposals based on the TOGA
(Top-down Object-based Goal-oriented Approach) meta-theory.
