MINDES:  Past ENEA's Program 

 Recently, the Emergency Management research is focused on large scale disasters where the losses are related together to individuals, society, technology, economy and the environment. They have also political and cultural consequences in the global scale. One of the hotest disaster/crisis factors which generate all before mentioned losses are destructions or insufficiently well  functioning large service technological infrastructures, such as, electric power networks, gas networks, water supply networks  and telecomunication networks.  
On the other hand, the Emergency Management is very sensitive on human factors and on the vulnerability of large organizations which are responsible for these infrastructures management under normal and abnormal conditions. ...
